“Ladder to You” is a stop-motion animation created by Eyebolls as part of an “Animated Shorts” series for the BFI and broadcast on the BBC. It tells the story of Eric who is on a journey to find his wife, touching on themes of grief, loneliness, adventure and hope.

Taking inspiration from Cornelia Parker’s “Exploded Shed”, Alice collaborated with Melt the Fly to create a hanging sculpture made from a single dismantled piano as the backdrop.

An installation depicting the story of the Ramayana was created by Vision Mechanics for the Edinburgh Diwali celebrations in Princes Street Gardens.
Alice’s role was assisting art director - Kim Bergsagel in creating paper-cut and laser-cut shadow puppetry for all fourteen projected screens.

“Quest for Oz” is an outdoor immersive theatre experience created by Vision Mechanics. Inspired by the book “The Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum, “Quest for Oz” takes place in a forest, where the audience is invited to explore and discover the story through lighting, sets and augmented reality.
Alice was responsible for the creation of “Doctor Wonder’s Emporium” - a magical apothecary of potions, cures, charms and dodgy fortune-telling.
She was also responsible for “Munchkinville” - a ghost-town due to the mysterious disappearance of the pumpkin-dwelling munchkins.

“Little Light” is a Scottish/Jordanian production by Vision Mechanics and the Haya Cultural Centre. Telling the story of a boy and his best friend (his pet dog), “Little Light” is an immersive children’s puppet show which takes place inside a traditional bedouin tent.
Alice’s main responsibilities were to assist in building the flats for the tent, elements of lighting and to create puppet props. She also held the role of “Stage Manager” when she toured with the show around Scotland.

Working on the 2017 pantomime “Beauty and the Beast” at the Brunton Theatre, Alice’s role was to assist set-designer Janis Hart with props, costume and scenic painting.
